NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
I am Warren R. Spangler, Democratic candidate for Pickaway Co. Commissioner. My wife, Janet, and I live at 17100 Cromley Rd. in Ashville, OH. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
Pickaway County has always been my home. I graduated from Circleville High School in 1970, worked for the Pickaway Co. Soil and Water Conservation Service for three years, and I have been involved with farming with my parents, Walton and Annabelle Spangler, since high school.
Loyalty is very important to me. I retired after 30 years of service with the John Deere Company warehouse in Columbus, OH. After retirement, I was called back to work with the company part time as a warehouse supervisor for 2 years, and have since worked for 13 years assisting with farm shows and exhibits. To the right, you can see more ways I have been loyal to our county.
My Work in the Community
•Lifetime Resident of Pickaway County, 36 years living in Ashville.
•14 years (presently) serving as Walnut Township Trustee.
•6 years as Chairman of the District Advisory Council representing all townships, villages, and the city of Circleville for the Health Department.
•13 years on Walnut Township Zoning Board.
•2 years on Walnut Township Zoning Appeals Board.
•7 years as member of Pickaway Township Fire Department.
•2 years as Chief of Pickaway Township Fire Department.
•Instrumental in forming the Pickaway County Firefighters Association, still active today.
•2 years as EMT with Circleville Squad.
•3 years with Pickaway Co. Soil and Water Conservation.
