A Fresh Perspective for Pickaway County.
Throughout out my entire life, I have done my best to fill a need for service in our community. Today, I am acting on a need in our community for full-time leadership. As Pickaway County Commissioner, I plan to fully engage as a leader and prioritize the needs of our people.
These are some areas I want to focus my energy on in our County Government:

I want to protect a carry over of funds in the Pickaway County budget, while supporting all of the county departments and organizations with funds to help fulfill their needs in order to serve the people of Pickaway County. We are blessed with not only some of the best elected officials and departments heads, but also dedicated volunteers that support our county at the Pickaway County Memorial Airport, Fairgrounds, Wright/Poling Dog Shelter, and many other areas. We need to support their efforts to make this a better community.

I want to create an environment in Pickaway County to employ the people. The need for jobs is always a priority. In order to create jobs, we need to create an economical climate that will allow existing businesses to flourish, and will attract and welcome new business to Pickaway County. We need more jobs that will provide an income for our people that they can make a living on. We must work with, and listen to, local business owners. We must strive to keep taxes low to make Pickaway County a place that industries see potential. We need to be prepared with site-ready properties for new industries. I want to work with the Pickaway Progress Partnership (P3), not just to listen to their reports, but to actively be involved as they seek businesses that will enhance our county.

I want to work closely with law enforcement, from the County Sheriff's office, Circleville Police, The Probation Officers, all village law enforcement, and the court systems, to battle the war in our county on drugs. These departments need all of the tools that we can provide them to find real, long lasting solutions. I want to work with our experienced professionals that can establish an enforceable plan.

I want to recognize the many employees of our county. We have some of the best employees serving our county in their various capacities. We need to recognize and thank them for their many years of service to Pickaway County, and also provide them with comparable salaries, benefits, and training as incentives to remain employees of our county.
I will be a full time commissioner for the people, not just for the party. I will work for the ideals and priorities of all, regardless of affiliation. Our government was created by the people, and for the people. Every issue is an opportunity to come together to create a solution for the betterment of Pickaway County.
